Goniopora sp.

This Is a Great first Goni, or if you love Goniopora, but can’t seem to keep them, this one is for you!

Aquacultured and tank hardy. we’ve had this one 4+ years in culture. This strain has seen alk swings, high nutrients, completely bottomed out nutrients, temperatures as high at 82F, and as low as 73F. And countless other stressors, and it always bounces back. At one point, several frags bleached completely white for a few months due to phosphate deficiency, and not one was lost before they were nursed back from the brink.

Feeding this one is optional. it will do better, and grow faster, but food isn’t needed to do well.

Outside of normal water conditions, to keep this coral thriving, keep magnesium near 1400ppm, and calcium over 400ppm and detectable po4. Otherwise, not much else will upset this coral.
